Founded in 1970 by a group of local Greek men, who originated from the area of Greece known as Sparta, the club Brunswick City was formed, with the nick name of Leonidas, the great King of Sparta.

After 50 years, the club is still going strong, and is playing in both the Senior Men’s NPL, the Senior Women in State League 2, and junior boys NPL. We also have a strong MiniRoos program, Community league teams for girls and boys, and  social programs for women & gender-diverse people, teen girls & gender-diverse people and girls.

Dunstan Reserve is the place to be to watch some great football every weekend.
